NEU 6000 was founded in early 1986. The company began its activity with the manufacture and commercialization of cannon installations and patented systems for the production of artificial snow. After achieving with this innovative system of high induction produce snow of excellent quality, low energy consumption, even at a Humid Temperature very close to 0 ° C, unfortunately we had to leave this activity by not giving in to the usual political blackmail. Since then, our activity has been specializing in the design, development and manufacture of new products related to the air conditioning and ventilation sector.

As a result of the innovative spirit that characterizes us, in 1993 we started a new productive and commercialization activity in our company: the manufacture of union flanges and accessories for metal ducts, creating our own registered trademark “RAMI-SYSTEM®“.

This new production sector is backed by the experience acquired since the late 70s in the manufacture and assembly of all kinds of ducts, thermal and acoustic insulation in the Spanish market.

Company History

1986

Fundation

The company was founded as NEU – 6000, S.A. and began its activity in early 1986 with the manufacture and commercialization of cannon installations and patented systems for the production of artificial snow. Since then, its activity has been specializing in the design, development and manufacture of new products related to the air conditioning and ventilation sector.
1993

New production activity

As a result of the innovative spirit that characterizes us, in 1993 we started a new productive and commercialization activity in our company: the manufacture of unions flanges and accessories for metal ducts, creating our own registered trademark “RAMI-SYSTEM®”. This new production sector is backed by the experience acquired since the late 70s in the manufacture and assembly of all kinds of ducts, thermal and acoustic insulation in the Spanish market.
2010

Extension of facilities

We have grown, we have a professional and efficient team, in addition to being located in two warehouses of more than 4,000 m², located in Martorell just 30 km from Barcelona, with excellent access roads to provide a better service to our customers.
2020

New E-600/120 essay with RAMI-20 unions

As the previous essay conducted at AFITI in 2009 had expired, we renewed it at APPLUS, improving its sealing and support performance while maintaining the 0.8 mm thickness.
2022

E-600/120 essay for 0,6 thickness

Due to the sharp increase in steel costs, we have carried out a new essay conducted at APPLUS on horizontally mounted rectangular ducts with cross-sections up to 1250×1000, featuring 0.6 mm thick sheet metal, 0.5 mm thick RAMI 20-A joints, and the minimum Class A airtightness requirement (sealing only 4 cm of the interior at each corner). It is the most competitive essay in Europe due to its excellent cost-per-square-meter ratio, offering a 35% weight saving.
2025

Change to NEU 6000, S.L.

As of January 1, 2025, we have changed the legal form of our company from NEU 6000, S.A. (public limited company)—under which we have operated for over 38 years—to NEU 6000, S.L. (limited liability company), changing only the letter in the tax ID (NIF) from A to B. Everything else remains the same.

NEU 6000 40th Anniversary

On April 23, 2026, we celebrated our 40th anniversary as a company, backed by 50 years of experience in the ductwork sector as both manufacturers and installers.

New E-600/120 essay for vertical ducts

Following the recent update of the essay standard from EN 1366-9:2008 to EN 1366-9:2024, the 1st of July we conducted a new test at APPLUS on rectangular ducts installed both horizontally and vertically. The tested ducts featured cross-sections up to 1250×1000 mm, 0.8 mm thick sheet metal, 0.5 mm thick RAMI 20-A joints, and met the minimum CLASS-A airtightness requirement (sealing only 4 cm of the interior at each corner). In addition to being valid for vertical installations, the duct achieved an “S” rating due to a leakage rate of less than 5 m³/m², making it suitable for use in countries where this rating is mandatory or for special types of installations that require it.

Over 100 E-600 essays completed for duct manufacturers

By October, we had already surpassed the milestone of 100 essays provided to clients who adopted our essays—supplied on a permanent basis—thereby benefiting from the advantages of achieving maximum efficiency at the lowest cost.
