UNION FLANGES FOR “SPIRO®” CIRCULAR DUCT
We manufacture a wide range of union flanges. Available in Galvanized Steel DX51 D + Z Z275 MA, from Ø 100 mm to Ø 3,000 mm, in 4 sizes. These are determined according to the stiffness required by each diameter. Standard version with screw lock (optionally with latch lock). All the edges of the frames are finished (without sharp edges). The risk of injury of being cut while handling them is totally eliminated.
Since their design is made up of multiple folds, they have great rigidity while perfectly adapting to the mouth of the duct (no internal undulations = better sealing). The closure “V” ring incorporates an M-1 polyethylene sealing gasket (closed cell) that optimizes its energy efficiency.
It is also manufactured on request with the specifications for High Temperature with ceramic gasket M-0 for 1,000 ºC with only an increase of 15% over the price of standard flanges. Likewise, the entire range of diameters is manufactured in STAINLESS STEEL AISI 304/316.
They comply with the airtightness level C, in a test carried out by the BSRIA independent entity, (according to the requirements of the UK HVCA Specification DW 143 – DW 144).
Its components are also sold separately: € of a closure “V” ring = a € of 2 flange rings.

UNION FLANGES FOR OVAL DUCT
NEW PRODUCT PRESENTATION IN:
We have recently developed and patented an innovative joining system for oval section ducts.
The oval section duct combines the advantages of the better performance of the circular duct with the lower height of the rectangular duct. For this reason, it is recommended for installations that, without having space in height, require maximum efficiency.
It is composed, like the “SPIRO®” duct flanges, of 2 flange rings and 1 “V” closure ring which has a built-in airtight gasket. The splicing of the sections to be joined is done by tightening only 2 nuts. Said 2 closures of the joint are located diagonally opposite. This system evenly distributes the pressure of the sealing gasket over the entire perimeter of the flanges, getting a better energy efficiency.
The joint assembly thus arranged deserves its exclusivity as it is a world novelty, because it allows the installation of the duct “glued to the ceiling”, since one closure is accessible from below and the other is screwed laterally using a socket wrench with an extension.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE CORRECT USE OF RAMI-SYSTEM® OVAL JOINT IN MANUFACTURING AND INSTALLATION
Given that it is a new product that favorably solves the drawbacks of the old oval duct joint systems, we are also faced with the challenge of changing the negative image of this type of joint that forced the duct to separate from the ceiling.
The RAMI-SYSTEM® oval flange assemblies are supplied matched so that both the assembly of all its components and the complete shipment of all of them can be verified.
In the first place, the pre-assembly of each of the frames will be carried out and they will be placed whole in their corresponding ends of each section of duct,
Pay special attention to the pins that join the straight frames with the curved ones. These have to be pressed into the latter (with the help of a hammer) and manually butt into the straight beams. Observe that the continuity between them is correct and without gaps.
Once the frame is thus presented in the mouth of the duct, it must be fixed (by spot welding, press-joint, screws, etc.), starting with the central part of the curved frames, then the central part of the straight, then all the rest at will. We insist that the fixing points near the ends of each section of straight frame with the curved one, guarantee the perfect continuity between them without separations.
Then those 4 connection areas between the frames of each mouth will be putty and, where appropriate, for sealing requirements, the entire contour of the frame with the duct. In this way, its correct placement will be terminated.
This operation will be repeated in the same way for each mouth of each section of duct.
The ducts, thus prepared, are now ready for assembly at the facility.
Starting from an already assembled section, it is placed on top of its entire contour and near the next frame to be joined by the assembly of the closing V with the 2 loosened screws and with the lower screw positioned farthest from the wall.
The following sections to be spliced will be presented and the frames to be joined will be perfectly joined. Then, the V will be appropriately moved over them and the 2 screws will be tightened progressively and simultaneously with the help of a socket wrench with an extension for the one in the upper part of the duct (or that is less accessible).
The rigidity of these joints, together with clamps on the stringers, allows installations with a high level of watertightness and a perfect aesthetic finish for exposed pipes.
With this new system, the duct can be fully docked to the ceiling and its oval shape makes sense: saving space in height with better efficiency than the rectangular section.
SPIRO® DOUBLE-DUCT SEPARATOR RUBBER
NEW PRODUCT PRESENTATION IN:
Applicable in insulated double tubes, made up of straight sections and concentric accessories of equal length, with a difference between the inside and outside diameter of 50 m / m.
It is made of M-1 rubber material.
Innovative PATENTED system that completely eliminates the thermal bridge between the inner and outer ducts.
The joint assembly thus assembled has a double watertight gasket: the first is the one formed by the 2 facing frames with their corresponding rubber gaskets and the second is the one that closes the assembly by means of the closing “V” with its sealing gasket. polyethylene that is incorporated inside. The result obtained in this type of joint is a maximum tightness level (CLASS-D level), the maximum energy efficiency.
Stability tests have been carried out between the fixation of the two tubes, placing a 3-meter section vertically. and suspending the assembly only from the outer tube. Several jerky movements have been made to certify that the spacer gasket holds the inner tube tightly in position.
RUBBER GASKET FOR THE UNION OF STAMPED ACCESSORIES
In addition to the RAMI-SYSTEM® flanges and “SPIRO®” pipe diameter installations, we have the RUBBER SEAL JOINT (with double lip).
We have 2 options: with and without adhesive.
Applicable to join the stamped accessories with the “SPIRO®” tube.
Complies with the Class D airtightness level for the maximum energy efficiency.

Due to the proximity of inaccessible walls or corners on the opposite side of the tube, sealing is impossible. This method becomes your best solution.
We recommend its use up to 300 mm in diameter.
