The RAMI-SYSTEM® access doors have been widely known for more than 20 years in the European market for their interesting quality / price ratio.
They consist of 2 panels made of galvanized sheet steel DX 51 D + Z Z275 MA of different thicknesses (according to size). Ranges are from 0.8 mm for the smallest ones, to 1.2 mm for the largest ones, with transverse folds that act as a reinforcement of great consistency.
SIZES
So far, we manufactured 7 sizes: 180 × 80, 200 × 100, 250 × 150, 300 × 200, 400 × 300, 500 × 400 and 600 × 450. Now, as 2.019 NOVELTY, we have included a new size (exclusive for flat access doors): 400 × 200, the FAD42.
All the first 7 specified sizes are manufactured for both rectangular duct (FAD = FLAT ACCESS DOOR), and for circular duct (CAD = CURVED ACCESS DOOR).
ASSEMBLY
The assembly is made by compressing both panels over the hole cut in the duct using a self-adhesive template, supplied in the same bag. In this contact perimeter is a closed cell polyethylene gasket, M-1 (self-extinguishing) 15 mm wide and 6 mm high, which ensure a perfect seal and energy savings. We have incorporated in the design of the embossing an effective system that allows an important increase of the compression of said perimeter joint. “In situ” sealing tests have been carried out in significant installations that show that the installation leakage level does not increase when using our access doors. These supporting documents are at your full availability.
The tightening and compression of the 2 panels together is done by 2 blue ergonomic polyamide plastic knobs. They have hexagonal metal inserts of M-8 (for the 4 small sizes) or M-10 (for the 3 large sizes) galvanized and injected inside, which ensure a perfect tightening and comfortable fit.
APPLICATIONS
For high-temperature installations, we have a range manufactured with smelting metal knobs and ceramic joints for 1000ºC.
They are also supplied in STAINLESS STEEL AISI 304/316 for all ranges of manufactured access doors.
Additionally, we have trays to fix access doors to the insulating panels of ducts (fiber, polyurethane, etc). They are also valid for double-walled rectangular metal ducts. Isolated access doors can also be supplied separately with longer screws.
Finally, we have the access doors for double circular duct (with 3 plates: 2 compress the inner and outer duct, meant to be only closed as a finish, with their corresponding knobs).
SAFETY FIRST
To protect the contours of the openings for the access doors cut in the sheet metal of the ducts, we have a self-adhesive M-1 rubber gasket. This way, injuries are avoided when doing maintenance work and hoses from the unit used for cleaning the interior of the ducts are also protected.
REGULATIONS
The existing regulations that apply to everything related to the placement of access doors for inspection and cleaning of all types of ducts are given by the C.T.E. (Technical Building Code). Then, reference is made to other specific rules that go into depth in all details of sizes, distance of location, periodicity of cleaning, etc
